About

MEET THE FOUNDER, VALERIE AGYEMAN, R.D.N
My name is Valerie Agyeman and I am a Women’s Health Dietitian, Nutrition Media Expert and Founder of Flourish Heights. My passion for nutrition developed over a decade ago. Once I discovered the power of nutrition in achieving good health at a young age, I never looked back. That was the best decision that I have made yet.
My mission and God-given purpose is to empower you on your journey to feeling your most healthiest self. I help women truly understand the powerful relationship between what they eat and how their body looks, feels and functions so they can make more wiser, conscious choices and establish a healthy relationship with food and their body.
My passion project centers around fostering a sense of community by establishing a safe haven for women to engage in open discussions about common, yet taboo topics pertaining to our bodies. I am here to encourage, empower and inspire you to get more in the know about your body so you can flourish in every way possible! Because you deserve it, yes you do.

“I am here to encourage and inspire you to live your best life, in good health.”

WHAT IS A REGISTERED DIETITIAN?
Registered Dietitians are qualified health professionals who are credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) to assess, diagnose and treat dietary and nutritional problems at an individual and wider public health level. Dietitians assess and alter nutrition based on an individual’s medical condition and nutritional needs to prevent or manage health conditions.

OUR NUTRITION PHILOSOPHY
Our nutrition philosophy encourages all women to plant a seed of commitment towards their health and wellness, no matter what their journey looks like. Being empowered in wellness starts with a true connection with your body, and there is no one-size fits all approach to health.
Eating is an act of self-care, it should be enjoyed in a way that makes you feel good, not shameful. Nourish to flourish. It’s vital for women to nourish a healthier relationship with food and take care of their bodies by honoring it, while finding a health routine that works for them and doesn’t fit someone else’s standards.
WHAT ARE WE ABOUT?!
