It’s time to put yourself first. Self-care is a huge component of wellness, believe it or not. Self-care is important to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself as it can boost your confidence, boost your mood and even motivate you to take charge of your overall health, which is much needed during these times.

Women often put their self-care last as they are sometimes too busy caring for others, putting all their energy into their careers, or even combining the two.  It’s okay to keep yourself occupied with other people, or other activities, but it’s extremely important to make time to take care of yourself, if possible. At least, try your best, we know life can get rough sometimes. Think of it like this, if you don’t put yourself first and find yourself in an unfortunate situation, how will you be able to take care of your career and loved ones?   2. Take a bubble bath or a nice hot shower, with some calming music.
  3. Read a book for an hour or more – get lost.

  5. Burn your favorite scented candle or diffuse some essential oils.
  6. Meditate.
  7. Go shopping.
  8. Buy yourself a bouquet of fresh flowers sis.
  9. Take a day off from work and do something fun!
  10. Have a solo jam session!
  11. Order in dinner.
  12. Take a nice, long nap.
  13. Have a 30 minute stretching session.
  14. Binge watch your favorite show.
  15. Do absolutely nothing, at all.
  16. Say no.
